My husband and I recently stayed at the Step House for our 40th wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful stay. From the moment we arrived until we left we were looked after in a most courteous and friendly manner. Breakfast and evening dinner was of the highest standard. We were upgraded to a suite which was beautiful. The gardens were amazing and it was so relaxing to sit out there in the sunshine. The proprietors were ever so friendly, chatting to their guests and making everyone feel so welcome. The Step House is an absolute hidden gem in the picturesque surrounds of Borris.

Fabulous stay. Food was amazing and staff were so friendly. Definitely worth a visit
