meal in restaurant was exceptional & our waitress was also also excellent, couldn't recommend enough!

From the moment we arrived at this hotel we knew we were going to love it! The staff are friendly and efficient, the rooms large and comfortable, the lounge and bar warm and inviting. However, most of all we loved the food and cannot praise Alan enough for his wonderful menu. Fresh ingredients, beautiful flavours and presentation made our dinner the highlight of the day. Breakfast was also delicious, lots of choice from fresh fruit , cereals and bread to a menu of individually cooked hot food. We enjoyed our stay in The Step House very much and can't wait until our next visit .

Had a great break, staff couldn't have been nicer and the superior room was just marvellous!! will definitely be back!!
